NANO FILM FESTIVAL REGULATIONS
COMPETING CATEGORIES
To participate, short films must belong to one of the following categories and last no more than 30 minutes:
Short Comedy – genre: comedy
Short Drama – genre: drama
Short Documentary – genre: documentary
Short Animation – genre: animation for at least 70% – any technique is allowed
Short Campano – genre: any – the author must be born in Campania and/or the short film must have been shot in Campania
For each category, 5 short films will be selected. The selected films will be screened for the People’s Jury, which will elect the Best Short Film in each Category, awarded with a handmade award by the artist Barbara CarboNe.
The winning short films in each category will compete for the €150.00 cash prize, corresponding to the title of Best Film, awarded by the Quality Jury.
OUT-OF-COMPETITION CATEGORIES
DOCUMENTARY FEATURE – for documentaries with a duration equal to or greater than 52 minutes;
MUSIC VIDEO – for music videos with a maximum duration of 8 minutes.
The Best Documentary and the Best Music Video will be awarded with an artwork by the artist Barbara Carbone and a special prize.
3 Documentary Features will be selected and screened, each receiving a screening fee (€50.00). The fee will be paid via bank transfer to an account designated by the representative of the selected Film (whether author, production, distribution). We aim to provide documentary filmmakers with this extra recognition to encourage the production and dissemination of documentaries.
The awards will be assigned at the unquestionable judgment of the Jury, which reserves the right to establish special categories and mentions if deemed appropriate.
